Melissa Rothschild is a Casting Director and owner of Chatter TV, which casts and develops unscripted, commercial and branded content across linear, digital and emerging platforms.
Melissa has spent the last two decades casting some of TV's most compelling non-scripted series. She started her career at MTV where she cast two Emmy Award winning seasons of MADE, along with groundbreaking casts for 16 & Pregnant. After six years with the network, she transitioned to in-house work as the Head of Casting & Talent for DiGa Vision, VP, Casting at Eastern TV and SVP of Talent & Casting at Superb Entertainment. In 2018, Melissa founded casting company, Chatter TV, where she currently serves as President and has cast non-scripted series for Netflix, Hulu, Facebook Watch, MTV, A&E, TLC, Peacock, YouTube, Vh1, Travel Channel, truTV, Food Network and E! In addition to her work on television she has also cast commercial campaigns for various brands including Healthgrades.com, Adidas / Yeezy, Nerf Pet and Kings Hawaiian Rolls.
She is a proud member of the Casting Society of America and when she is not making strangers famous she can be found at HomeGoods, brunching, and spending quality time with her dog-child, George.
